Web Based Building Monitoring

Atlantic Database Systems, Inc.
Real-Time Monitoring, Control and Database Systems

Remote building monitoring enables operations personnel to
determine building conditions without physically going to the
site, saving time and travel.

This system consists of a Linux server communicating via the
Internet with building automation systems. Status information
from the buildings is stored in a MySQL database and viewed
via web browsers. Alerts are generated automatically in
response to out of variance conditions.

The data acquisition software was written in C++. The web
display generation was written in PHP. The web server uses the
open source Apache system.
