Building Automation

The building automation system controls HVAC units, lights and
other devices. Remote monitoring enables operations
personnel to monitor and change settings without physically
going to the site, saving time and travel.

This system consists of a small embedded Linux server
communicating via serial ports with communicating thermostats,
various sensors and relays. The graphic user interface runs on
standard PC's and communicates with the small on-site devices
via the Internet.

The software was written in C++.
